Requests about locations, etc.

The Saga Pref. Film Commission starts with the cooperation and understanding of many residents of the prefecture to find suitable location candidates and acts to promote film commission work within the prefecture.

In order to help even more directors and producers film smoothly, please assist us in observing the following points:

  • Please select the contact person who will be responsible for coordinating with the FC and explain each party’s responsibilities.
  • Should shooting continue into the night, or if loud noise or other such inconveniences to people in the area are expected, we will need you to explain this to residents beforehand and obtain their consent.
  • Please relate to us your discussions with the facilities we introduce, regardless of whether you decide to use them.
  • Should you cancel shooting or change your schedule, please let us know immediately; as well as informing any facility managers or people cooperating with the filming.
  • Please be sure to discuss any terms or conditions thoroughly with facilities managers and/or people involved with shooting, and be careful to observe said conditions.
  • Please return all facilities to their former conditions and clean up when you are done filming.
  • The Film Commission does not offer any capital to offset filming costs, nor do we provide any price mediation with businesses; for issues regarding orders placed or contracts with filming equipment suppliers, etc, please deal with the producer’s side.
